Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our lab-grown diamonds, sustainable craftsmanship, and commitment to you.
Lab-Grown Diamonds
1. What exactly is a lab-grown diamond?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond that is created in a highly controlled laboratory environment rather than mined from the earth. They have the identical chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds.
2. Are lab-grown diamonds considered "real" diamonds?
Yes, absolutely. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recognizes lab-grown diamonds as real diamonds. The only difference is their origin.
3. Can a jeweler tell the difference?
No, a jeweler cannot tell the difference with the naked eye or a traditional jeweler's loupe. Identifying a lab-grown diamond requires highly specialized laboratory equipment.
4. Will a lab-grown diamond pass a diamond tester?
Yes. Because they are purely composed of crystallized carbon, just like mined diamonds, they will test positive on a standard diamond tester.
5. Do lab-grown diamonds fade or change color over time?
Never. Just like earth-mined diamonds, lab-grown diamonds will maintain their brilliant sparkle and color forever. They do not fade, cloud, or change appearance over time.
6. How are your diamonds created?
Our diamonds are grown using advanced technological processes—primarily CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) and HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature)—which replicate the natural conditions under which diamonds develop.
7. Are lab-grown diamonds graded the same way?
Yes. They are evaluated using the exact same criteria as mined diamonds: the 4 Cs (Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight) by independent gemological laboratories like the IGI and GIA.
8. Why choose lab-grown over mined?
Lab-grown diamonds offer incredible value, allowing you to maximize your budget without compromising on quality or size. Furthermore, they are a 100% conflict-free and an environmentally conscious choice.

Jewelry Care
27. How should I clean my diamond ring at home?
Soak your ring in a bowl of warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 20-30 minutes. Gently scrub behind the diamond with a soft baby toothbrush, rinse with warm water, and dry with a lint-free cloth.
28. When should I take my ring off?
We recommend removing your ring when sleeping, showering, working out, swimming, cleaning with harsh chemicals, or performing heavy physical labor.
29. Will hand sanitizer damage my jewelry?
Hand sanitizer will not damage the diamond or solid gold/platinum. However, excessive use can dull the sparkle temporarily (until cleaned) and may wear down the rhodium plating on white gold rings slightly faster over time.
30. Do you offer professional cleaning and inspection?
Yes! We recommend having your jewelry professionally inspected and cleaned by us once a year to ensure the prongs are tight and the diamond is secure. This service is complimentary for our customers.
